I've had a very long exhausting week but it all paid off.. my presentation went very well :) To celebrate this fine achievement, I decided to update my wardrobe *Yeehaw!*. I've practically been living in Threadless tees this past couple weeks and I am already sick of them. Plus I damn well earned a shopping spree just because I have survived uni this week :)






Got some wardrobe staples mainly:
- Percy placket tank in black, white and charcoal marle - Great for layerings!
- Kari top in cherry red
- Tie waist knit cardi in ink marle
- Patent skinny belt in sunshine
- Love shopping bag - so cute and it's for charity :)

Also bought a few things for others:
- Mushroom: 2 huge lettuces (He did so well during the no lettuce diet)
- My dad: brown polo shirt (Happy dad's day!!!!)
- My mum: Rosehip oil (I hope she likes it)

and others that I cant mention on here, lol. I bought somebody XYZ but I think he owns XYZ already cos I sorta have a feeling I've seen him with XYZ before so I might need to exchange XYZ with something not XYZ, lol. I'll go through the thousands of pictures in my laptop later and see if he got XYZ already or not.

Anyway, today I'll be spending most of my time at uni, studying. I got 3 exams next week so I better start cracking :)

My first home-made scones baked by my housemate. I told her I've never tried scones before so she baked them for me. How sweet :)


She overdid it.. Kept feeding me plate after plate of scones, lol. But gracias.. very sweet of you :)

Made this for Sungkai last night.... Ok I lied. We got the chickens from Oporto. I just made a buttermilk sauce for it and prettified it with lettuce and eggs, hehe. Tonight's Sungkai is going to be the bomb! We are going to have gourmet pizza *Yay*


However, I am not particularly happy about next week but I think I'll survive. I am off to squeeze the juices out of my brain.

I've been slack on my blog, my apologies! I hope everyone has had great times this week, unlike me, lol. I had a very exhausting week. I had classes to attend, while getting things finalised for home and completing my research proposal at the same time. I dont think I've had as much sleep as I did last night.

Yesterday, I went to Brissy and had lunch with Mea in the city. Good food, awesome company, deep conversation, hehe :) I had a good time catching up with you!!! I took a picture of us but she wont let me post it here so go bug her, hehe :P

Last night, a cat followed me home.

But halfway home, the cat disappeared. It was so cute and I liked it. You dont get random cats following you around, at least not in my neighbourhood. They usually run away when they see strangers around. So this cat made me happy, lol.

There were also fireworks last night to end the first day of the Gold Coast show...


Fireworks remind me of home so much! I cant wait to go back home!!

Okay, I woke up early this morning because I have a neuroscience lecture. I turned up at uni and surprise, surprise... the lecture was cancelled. So I thought what better way to spend my morning other than... SHOPPING! :P

I mean, I've sacrificed my beauty sleep to go to lecture. I even dressed up a bit since it's Monday and all. I dont like Mondays but dressing up helps to 'up' the mood a lil :)

So anyway, I went to Australia Fair...


and got these :) Its Balenciaga inspired gladiator wedges from Novo and the Bluebird red clutch I've been dying to get since last week. Now I am a happy chica :D

I've been a regular wearer of contact lens for as long as I can remember, but its only recently that I try the coloured ones, thanks to Dini and Miz... and I gotta say I really reaaaaally like them! I've received a lot of compliments too, some from strangers, lol. But its all good! :)

I am itching to buy some new makeup. I still need to get a new blush and I've been checking out this brand called Eyeko. They got the cutest packaging, seriously!! Mascara in a tube!!!!.. so smart! Too bad I havent seen this brand around here. Going to nag my brother to check it out for me there since it's a UK brand, hehe.

So has anyone watched Taken? I went to see it a couple nights ago and it was meh! Like a cheap version of Bourne. I give it a 6.5. I cant wait to see The Mummy. Me and Isz plan to watch it in style... yeah Gold Class, baby! :D Isz bought us a Magnum ice cream (thanks, Isz!) and there's a Magnum promotion where you get a free movie upgrade. Yeaaaa... start eating Magnum people!

Anyway, I have tough weeks ahead of me. Assignments and presentations and group meetings and exams. Foodwise, I am prepped :) I was browsing around Woolies and saw these!!! They got new flavours!!!! I've tried the green one and it's gooooooood! :)

I totally forgot about the BYS shine stick eyeshadow in silver that I bought more than a month ago. A couple girls raved about it so much that I bought one just for the sake of having an eyeshadow stick. It only costs $3 so what do I have to lose. If it's as good as it's been raved, I might just score a really cheapie eye base primer but I am so wrong!

It creases like craaaaaazy!! Even with the eye primer. Maybe I bought a different one? but I really doubt it. Definitely doesnt work with any eye primer and eyeshadows at all. The only good thing about it is the vibrancy it gives to the eyeshadows. But it still doesnt cut it for me. Sticking to MAC paint for now :)
