Anyhoo, while waiting for her to come down to the city, I went to Myer to have a look around. They still have some 50% further reduction on some stuff but they didnt appeal to me. They are leftovers from last month's Stock Sale, eeks. Also, (I know I am on a shopping ban but..) I just could not missed taking a tour around the cosmetic floor. I had a bit of a chat with this friendly Chanel MUA about their foundation. Chanel makes great foundation but their range of shades are limited *boohoo*. She suggested me to check out the new Lancome foundation range which she rated as good as Chanel. I am still not sure which foundation she was talking about cos my eyes went past the Lancome counter, straight to MAC hehe. I love MAC counter in Brissy. I get to play around with the colours and the MUA arent pushy at all. I had a look at the new MSF duo. They look gorgeous!!!! I almost hate myself for not getting this hehe. But yeah, keep in mind "no shopping" :( However, I did buy a paint pot in Indianwood BUT it's for Dini (cos I promised her I'd buy her one) so I didnt break any ban :P
You are so going to love this paint pot. I have to admit, it looks better than paint. Not sure how it goes as primer but the colour looks promising. It has slight shimmer in it and glides smoothly than paint. It looks gooooood!!! Can you tell I am jealous?, lol.
Anyway, Aka and I met up at Queen St. She took me to this covenient store on Ann St. They sell lots of halal products. Mea, you should check this store out. Apparently, the owner and the SA are muslims. They have sausages, takeaway food, corned beef, salami and non-alcoholic beer, lol. Dont ask.
We spent the day at Stones Corner, mostly. Had Robyn's chickens and lasagna for lunch. Nothing much has changed..and I mean it. They are still as finger licking good as the one I had before and the owner is still giving me shit about not telling him that the food is for eating in, just like in previous years, lol. Seriously, it's a restaurant, you should assume that people are eating in unless they tell you its for takeaways! (I am hoping he would come across my blog and read this hehe)
Other than that, it was a fun day. I went to Jeans West fitting room for about 10 times. Thats a record breaker there! I couldnt decide what jeans to get. But after trying on thousands of jeans, I decided to go with a pair of skinny jeans. I love them so much!! and yes, I broke the ban =/ so ashamed of myself but its not easy to find a nice pair of jeans, you know. Like I said, it took me 10+ times of going into the fitting room and the awesome effort of the lovely SA to make sure I get the perfect jeans.
At the end of the day, these are the only things I bought (minus Elmo)...
I kinda regret not buying this hot looking huge clutch I saw in Strandbags and another pair of jeans. I am lemming for boyfriend jeans now.
