Facial hair didnt bother me much before because I got other bigger facial problems (#$%^! blackheads) but there is an obsession with appropriate hair placement nowadays and I seem to have caught it.
I am most conscious of my eyebrows than any other. It seriously make a huge difference to get them perfectly shaped. I've tried 2 different ways of getting them shaped: waxing and threading at professional salons. IMO, threading is way better as it removes even the tiniest hair however it comes with a price. Threading is a bit more painful than waxing. Lucky, I have a high pain threshold so they both feel pretty much nothing to me. I havent done any eyebrow threading here in Australia so waxing is the only way to go. I usually go to Revival's Lounge in Brisbane. They are really good. It's in Rowes Arcade opposite of LV store. But if I need a quick fix, I usually go to Fox Salons here in Gold Coast. However, if you are in Brunei, I suggest you go to Nail Art, the mall, just next to Fitness Zone. Ask for Dory, she's good with threading :)
Anyway, I have eyebrow waxing appointment once a month. In between eyebrows appointment, I use tweezers to pluck stray hair. For first timer, I highly recommend seeing a professional to do it. It helps to see what eyebrow shape is suitable for you. I prefer thick neat arched eyebrows than thin ones cos thin ones will make you look older than you are. So make sure you let them know if you like them thick or thin. From memory, it only costs about $20 to get it done. A combo of eyebrow and upper lip waxing should be about $25 so the price is quite good. I personally have never had upper lip waxing so I am not sure how painful it can be. I think I'll give it a go next time :)
